On Saturday, May 10th, Salisbury University
Men's Lacrosse Coach, Jim Berkman will have his first
opportunity to become Collegiate
Lacrosse's' All Time Leader in Wins. The Varsity Club is
assisting the Sea Gull Athletics in coordinating this historic
event.
With SU's defeat of Washington College on Saturday, April 26th, Coach Berkman has 326 victories,
thus equaling the record currently
held by Jack Emmer of U.S.M.A. (Army) Black Knights.
Win number
327 could come during the NCAA Playoffs, on May
10th at 7:30 pm vs. the winner of the Kenyon vs. Ohio Wesleyan
game to be played on May 7th. We are asking all Salisbury University Alumni (and
Coach's former players from Potsdam State) to make plans to
attend this historic game. We will have much to celebrate,
and we want as many of you there to congratulate Coach, as you
were all the reason he has achieved this milestone.
